Things to do in Washington DC: festival of lights

Need to get out of the house?

I know, I know. The Good Liar is a date night for adults, so why am I telling you about family friendly events? Because if you're a parent in a pandemic -- hiding from your kids has become much harder. And because getting out of the house is essential to avoid insanity.

My family took a trip to Watkins Regional Park to see the 'Festival of Lights'. t only costs $8 in advance or $10 at the door. My kids were in heaven. How many lights can they fit into one regional park? All of them. The drive through the park was an action packed 30 minutes. My 5 year shouted at every light display she recognized. My 1 year old kept shouting 'Rainbow Lights!!!' It was cute for at least 10 minutes.

For information, check out their website. I hope you have as much fun as we did!
